Welcome to Succulent Garden 2.0: New Gardener Edition which comes with instructions containing a new approach to setting triangles, fabric requirements, and layout. With the easy breezy 1/2 yard bundle fabric requirements, creating this new version is simple, straightforward, and fun. Same oversized hexagons with a new layout, quilt sizes, setting triangles, and ease.
Wanna know the difference?
The Original Succulent Garden quilt pattern uses a variety of measurements to create oversized hexagons, so that each hexagon has dynamic variations. Thus, the pattern requires that you use a variety of cuts of fabric from 1-1/8 yard down to 3/8 yard, making aesthetic decisions along the way.
The new Succulent Garden 2.0 quilt pattern uses one block variation that is repeated, making choosing fabrics extremely simple. Grab a 1/2 yard bundle and get to work! This new edition also includes a scrappy approach to setting triangles, creating the appearance that the hexagon pattern continues on. Simplicity! This pattern is just different enough from the original that it needs to stand on its own. And while it relates to the Original Succulent Garden quilt pattern, it has its own sizes, layouts, setting triangle approach, and ease. Welcome to the gardening shed, New Gardener!
Pattern includes instructions, pattern pieces, and measurements to create your own.
Use of this pattern is restricted to the original purchaser, and may not be shared, copied, or distributed per copyright law.
Oh man. We’re honored that you have chosen to purchase a Crimson Tate Studio pattern. That’s pretty swell. We love what we do. We love the laboring over the designing of the quilts to figuring out the best way to communicate how to build it, doing all those maths, sketches, and computations. We love the trial and error and then testing, retesting, and testing again. We love deciding how to lay it out, pour tons of time and energy into the graphic design, creating charts, packaging, licking envelopes (just kidding! We don’t lick anything. The plastic sleeves are self sealing once you pull away the tab. But we do pull away the tab!) We thank you for honoring our efforts by not sharing your purchase with others. We’re humans doing our work and trying to do the best job we humanly can. Sharing files is booty and just plain not cool. Thanks for sticking with us and supporting an independent small team of real people making real things.
