| Instructor: | Kim Vogelsang |
| Instructor Bio: | Kim spent 30 years soaring the skies as a dedicated flight attendant, a career that sparked her lifelong love of travel and connecting with people from all walks of life. Although she now enjoys a more grounded lifestyle, she remains a traveler at heart, with a passion for discovering new places and experiences. Kim’s creative journey began in childhood, learning to sew alongside her mom. Over the past fifteen years, quilting has grown into a true passion and creative outlet, opening the door to opportunities that have allowed her to share that passion with others. For the past six years, she has worked as a fabric concierge at Crimson Tate and has also enjoyed pattern testing for a variety of quilt designers. Most recently, she has spent the past three years as a creative contributor for Suzy Quilts and The Cutting Table, where she has had the opportunity to develop and share quilting projects with a wider community. In 2024, Kim turned that passion into purpose by launching her small quilting business, Birdsong Quilt Co. When she’s not at her sewing machine, she loves spending time in the kitchen, baking treats for family and friends. Kim lives in Bloomington, Indiana, with her husband and is the proud mom of two grown sons. Follow along with Kim’s quilty creations on Instagram at @kimmvogel. |
